 Mens necklaces are a must have fashion accessory for the modern man. When one thinks of the male necklace images of gaudy gold chains and lounge lizard wear come to mind. In reality the men's necklace has evolved to become a statement of boldness and masculinity without seeming clumsy or effeminate. A man can wear a necklace to casual Friday or a hot date or even just to run down to the convenience store. Most men's necklaces are naturally themed, being made of wooden beads, stone or seashells. A kind of man returns to nature thing. They come in a variety of colors, sizes and shapes. The more popular colors are white and black colored beads and it's a general rule of thumb to avoid any bright colors that may attract too much attention or seem too flamboyant. Some necklaces come with metal beads or chain with a pendant in the center. The pendant is often something like a skull or flames or an ancient design. The metal for these types of necklaces is stainless steel, pewter or sterling silver. There are still necklaces made of gold. These days they are more simple chains worn close to the neck. Its style to wear your necklace tucked under the collar of your shirt so that a little of the necklace shows but not all. Try to remember the word, subtle, when picking a necklace for yourself. You want it to be bold and masculine, but you don't want to flaunt it. Pick neutral or darker colors. Simple beading patterns with large beads are a good choice for big guys. If you're planning on wearing it with a button-up shirt you may want to look for a metal chain or black corded necklace with a metal pendant.
